Sunday, April 6 - Intinction Communion Service.
Sunday, April 13 - Palm Sunday
Sunday, April 20 - Easter Sunday - Pew Communion Service
Acolytes -
This role is done by a student in grade 4 or higher. Acolytes assist the minister during worship, tend to the lighting and extinguishing of candles. All acolytes receive training for these necessary roles.
Lectors -
The Church Administrative Assistance will provide your Lector readings during the week prior to your Sunday service. Please make sure that the Bible on the lectern is set with those passages marked.
Lector will be reading the two Bible Readings.
Important - when you go up to the lectern, adjust the microphone so that it is centered for your face and closer to your mouth. You may need to move it up and down or side to side to best fit you. Jeff will take care of the microphone level - it is now permanently in "power on" position.
Greeters -
Please arrive by 10:00 AM. The worship service begins at 10:30 AM.
Please check in with the Lead Greeter so they know you are present and then report to the area you selected to welcome people.
Please stay at your post until 10:40 AM. At this time, the individual at the Common's table may leave and go into the Sanctuary. The individual at the electronic door will bring in the "Enter Here" Sign and the individual at the Sanctuary exterior door will take out the "Enter Here" sign. After these tasks are done, you may leave your post and go into the Sanctuary.
Welcome everyone with a warm smile and greeting.
Be available to assist the Lead Greeter with duties to prepare for the service.
Pew Offering Collection - Please assemble at the rear of the Sanctuary during the prayer response. The Lead Greeter will coordinate the group, and you will proceed to the front of the Sanctuary and receive the offering plates from the Pastor. The two individuals in the front will go to the side aisles and the two individuals in the rear will turn around and proceed to collect the offering from the center aisle. All four individuals will move to the rear of the Sanctury collecting the offering intandem as they move.
Delivering the Altar flowers after the service on Sundays offers the rewarding experience of bringing not only flowers, but also the love and prayers of the St. Paul's UCC family, to parishioners who are ill at home or in the hospital, parish shut-ins, and others to whom we would like to show special remembrance. Please take a bulletin along when delivering flowers. The flowers are placed on the curb at the front of the Sanctuary after being prepared at the conclusion of the worship service.

Counting Team Members -
Two unrelated adults are needed each Sunday to count the offering and record the totals on the offering money spreadsheet. The procedures are simple and well documented. Pair yourself up with a "seasoned" counter for your first time to learn the process.
