Friends!! It's starting not to feel like Fall! I think we could safely call it Spring.   As our thoughts turn to sunny days and time outside, it's time to think about all the goodness Mother Nature will provide us with over the next six months.  Top of the list at Glebe CI is the strawberry!!

Why is that you say?  Because of the Strawberry Social.  Each year, we parents and guardians put on a delightful spread that says "Thank You" to all the staff at Glebe CI for all they do for our kids and families  throughout the year. This year, it is happening on Tuesday June 11. Please follow the link to sign up to volunteer your time or to bring some yummy kind of strawberry magic! If you are able to offer items that are vegan and or gluten free, it will help to ensure that everyone gets to enjoy our treats!

If you have the time to volunteer the day of, it’s a great opportunity to connect with other parents and see what it feels like during a regular school day at Glebe.

If you are bringing in snacks, please bring them to the office between 8:00 - 9:30 am.  Please ensure that you label any dishes or utensils to ensure they get back to you! And please ask your kids to pick up the dishes at the end of the day.  To that end, if you are missing dishes ( or a crock pot) from our December Dinner, please send an email directly to me, Lisa at lisaelgingreaves@hotmail.com, they are sitting in my living room and I would love to get them back to you!

This day means a lot to the staff - we are always amazed at the gratitude they express. In little school, the teachers get lots of thank you's and hand made cards - not so much as our kids get older.  Thanks for any support you can give, and we understand if you can't!
