Please sign up to donate blood during the College Blood Drive to be held in ATCC Gym 120. The first 45 students to sign up AND follow up to donate will receive a t-shirt! Signing up for a WB (Whole Blood) slot will take approx. 20-30 minutes. The 2RBC (Double Red Blood Cell) slots take about an hour and allows donors to make twice the difference by giving two units of red cells. Donors with blood types that face the most shortages (0-, 0+, A-, and B-) are urged to consider giving a double red blood cell donation whenever possible. It is more comfortable for the donor with saline and plasma replacement, less donor reactions, and is a single arm procedure with a smaller needle.
