Registration Form created by Michael Macchioni

Note/Comment icon Thanks for signing up for Gemma's Angels 2015 Apple Gleaning! Gleaning takes place at Schaeffer Farms in Klingerstown, PA about 55 minutes north of Hershey. We will meet on Saturday, October 17 at 9:30 a.m. at the GIANT supermarket, Hershey Road (Route 39) in Hummelstown. Be aware that this is Antique Auto Week so take the back roads as much as possible to get to the meeting point. We will leave the orchard at about 1:00 p.m. Wear long pants, long sleeve shirts and gloves are a must (due to possible poison ivy). The farm sits just north of the beautiful Blue Mountain range and it is remote. Note there is no cell service on the farm itself. Gleaning involves picking up the good apples that have fallen naturally or from the picking process. If you can, stop at your local supermarket and pick up a few boxes for us so we can fill them. This is a really fun event plus you are helping the needy. Questions? Call Mike Macchioni at 717-686-7503
