This sheet is for volunteers to sign-up for the February 20th Lenten Fish Dinner.  Read the position duties below, then scroll down to the bottom to signup.

Student Volunteers - Help is needed on Friday from 4PM to 6:45PM. Do not use this sign up for Student Volunteers! Please sign-up on the Student Volunteers Signup Sheet that follows: (ttsu.me/2026studentfishfry)

The duties and timeframes are provided below:

Thursday, February 19th - Prep Day (1PM - 4PM) (12 people)

• Prep cold sides and place in the refrigerator
• Prep potatoes for baking
• Slice lemons
• Prep take-out bags
• Setup tables and chairs in hall and lobby
• Prep Dessert & Beverage Stations
• Prep condiments

Friday, February 20th - Cooking and meal delivery day (times are approximate) 

Kitchen Stations

Cooks (10) - (Times vary from noon - 7PM)

• Startup kitchen (stove, griddle, fryers (2), ovens (2), food warmers, coffee pots
• Bake potatoes followed by mac-n-cheese
• Grill onions
• Prep and bake fish, fry fish and french fries
• Boil and grill pierogis

Platers (6)

• Place cooked food onto plates per order form

Order Fill (6)

• Work with Platers to prepare the guest order per the order form.  Delivery food to the kitchen pass-through window.

Kitchen Cleanup (10 - split shifts)

• Wash, dry, put away pots, roasters, crockpots, trays, and utensils used for cooking.  Clean table surfaces and mop floor.

Dining Hall Stations

Soup Station (1)

• Ladle soup into bowls

Food Runners (5)

• Delivery food from the kitchen pass-through window to the assigned table or to the take-out station.  

Takeout Baggers (4)

• Verify the order, place the take-out order in plastic bags and hand to the guest.  

Beverage Table Attendants (2).

• Monitor and replenish the beverage tables (water, soda, coffee, tea)

Dessert Table Attendants (5)

• Monitor and replenish the dessert tables

Dining Hall-Host (1)

• Manage the seating in the dining hall

Dining Hall-Table Escorts (5)

• Escort guests to table and deliver food order form to the kitchen

Dining Hall-Clean/Reset (5)

• Clean tables, reset for next diner, and remove trash

Lobby Stations 

Lobby-Greeters (3)

• Greet guests and help them navigate lobby.  

Lobby-Order Takers (5)

• Answer questions regarding menu and assist with completion of the food order form

Lobby Cashiers (6)

• Process payment (cash, check, or credit card) and make change for guests

General Duties (6)

• Assist in hall and kitchen as needed

Note:  All personnel are requested to enter through the "C" entrance at the front of the Church Lobby (Trindle Road side).  

All personnel handling un-bagged or un-plated food (primarily cooks, platers, and runners) must wear gloves and a head covering (hat or hair net).  Hair nets are available in the kitchen.
