Do you believe that every American deserves a vote? Why not turn this passion to action and become a volunteer driver? Sign up to give a fellow American a ride to the polls on Early Voting Saturday?

The League of Women Voters of the CSRA is coordinating rides to Brigham Community Center on October 27 (Early Voting Saturday) in conjunction with the #PostThePeach Party. The polls are open from 9:00 - 4:00. The Party is from 10:00-3:00.

Anybody can sign up to get a ride or to drive somebody. We welcome persons of any race or ethnicity, age, sex or gender identity, sexual orientation, disability status, family situation, or religious or political belief.

Once you have completed the form, you will receive a message confirming that we've received your offer. We will match you with a rider based on the information you've provided. Matches will be based on when, where, and how many people you can drive and whether you have a powerchair-adapted vehicle. You'll receive a message for each proposed match, including the details of the ride request. You can accept any ride requests that work for your schedule. It is your responsibility to contact your rider directly to arrange the details of the ride.

If you need to change any information on your form, you may do so if you provide a valid email address.

These terms of service constitute a legally binding agreement (the "Agreement") between you ("you" or "your") and the League of Women Voters of the CSRA ("we," "us" or "our"), a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization working to encourage participation in the democratic process (collectively, the "LWV-CSRA").

I understand that the LWV-CSRA will share my contact details with the rider if there's a match. The LWV-CSRA will not share personal details with anybody else, unless required by law and will destroy them within three months of election day if you've asked us not to stay in touch.

I understand that the LWV-CSRA will provide introductions between riders and volunteer drivers who have signed up. I understand that anybody can sign up to drive and the LWV-CSRA is unable to perform any background checks on people who use the platform. As with any other environment where I meet new people, I will take steps to keep myself and my possessions safe and accept that the LWV-CSRA cannot be responsible if anything goes wrong.

Volunteer drivers have no employment relationship with the League of Women Voters of the CSRA.

I understand that this service is open to any driver or rider - no matter what their personal background or beliefs. To help make sure that both the driver and I feel comfortable and safe, I promise that I will not discuss politics during the journey.

By registering my offer, I expressly consent and agree to accept and receive communications from the LWV-CSRA, including via e-mail, text message, calls, and push notifications to the cellular telephone number you provided to us.

The LWV-CSRA is not a transportation carrier. It is up to the driver to decide whether or not to offer a ride to a rider contacted through the Rides to the Polls Registration, and it is up to the rider to decide whether or not to accept a ride from any driver contacted through the Rides to the Polls platform. Any decision by a user to offer or accept services once such user is matched through the platform is a decision made in such user's sole discretion. Each transportation service provided by a driver to a rider shall constitute a separate agreement between such persons.

Driver Representations and Warranties
By providing Services as a Driver via the LWV-CSRA Rides to the Polls, you represent, warrant, and agree that:
* You possess a valid driver's license and are authorized and medically fit to operate a motor vehicle and have all appropriate licenses, approvals and authority to provide transportation to Riders in all jurisdictions in which you provide Services.
* You own, or have the legal right to operate, the vehicle you use when providing Services, and such vehicle is in good operating condition and meets the industry safety standards and all applicable statutory and state department of motor vehicle requirements for a vehicle of its kind.
* You will not transport more passengers than can securely be seated in your vehicle.
* You have a valid policy of liability insurance (in coverage amounts consistent with all applicable legal requirements) that names or schedules you for the operation of the vehicle you use to provide Services.
* You will be solely responsible for any and all liability that results from or is alleged as a result of your provision of Services, including, but not limited to personal injuries, death and property damages.
* In the event of a motor vehicle accident you will be solely responsible for compliance with any applicable statutory or department of motor vehicles requirements, for reporting the accident to the LWV-CSRA and your insurer in a timely manner, and for all necessary contacts with your insurance carrier.
* You will comply with all applicable laws, rules and regulations while providing Services, and you will be solely responsible for any violations of such provisions.
* You will not make any misrepresentation regarding the LWV-CSRA, the Services or your status as a Driver, or, while providing the Services, operate as a public carrier or taxi service, accept street hails, charge for rides, or engage in any other activity in a manner that is inconsistent with your obligations under this Agreement.
* You will not discriminate or harass anyone on the basis of race, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, physical or mental disability, medical condition, marital status, age, or sexual orientation. You will make reasonable accommodation for service animals.
* You will not discuss, with other users or members of the public, politics, during any part of the ride, from getting into the vehicle at the start of journey, to leaving the vehicle after every part of the journey has been completed.
* You agree that we may obtain information about you, including your criminal and driving records, and you agree to provide any further necessary authorizations to facilitate our access to such records during the term of the Agreement.

RELEASE:
In the event that you have a dispute with one or more Users, you agree to release the League of Women Voters of the CSRA (including each of our respective officers, directors, and members) from claims, demands and damages of every kind and nature, known and unknown, suspected and unsuspected, disclosed and undisclosed, arising out of or in any way connected to such disputes with any riders or other drivers or to your participation in the Services. We reserve the right, but have no obligation, to monitor disputes between you and any riders or other drivers.

What happens next? Our system will use these details to try to find riders. If there is a potential match, we'll send you a notification. If you accept the match, we'll let the rider know that you'll be in touch to arrange the ride.
