Hello!! If you are available and willing to volunteer a portion of your day on June 20th, 2026 to help the Duncannon Appalachian Trail Community set up, run, and tear down our annual A.T. Festival... THANK YOU!!
The day will consist of 4 "shifts" of volunteers needed to spread around the time commitment and work required for a successful festival:
Shift 1: SETUP (11:00am - 2:00pm) - helping manage vendor traffic, booth placement, table/chair setup, sound/stage setup, and any other last minute tasks required prior to the festival start at 2:00pm.
Shift 2: FESTIVAL OPERATIONS (2:00pm - 6:00pm) - helping manage the DATC Vendor booth, selling raffle tickets, emptying trash cans, monitoring stage/vendor activities, walking the festival, and providing guest services as needed.
Shift 3: CRAFT BOOTH (2:00pm - 8:00pm) - helping at the Children's Craft Booth, providing craft demos, helping children with their crafts, replenishing craft supplies, and general management of the craft booth.
Shift 4: TEAR DOWN (6:00pm - 9:00pm) - helping vendors safely tear down and exit the festival, trash removal, stage/sound equipment tear down, DATC booth/craft booth clean up, and general festival ending activities.
Please sign up for the shift or shifts that you're willing to commit to, and be aware that we are planning to have enough volunteers to allow plenty of breaks and downtime to enjoy the festival as well!! We couldn't do this without your support, so thank you in advance for everything you do to support the DATC.
Please reach out to Jeff Martz ([email protected] - 717-275-6660) if you have any questions or comments about your volunteering!
