Cost: $5.00 - per scout for the MBU Badge
Registration: Registration is open through the 19th of October. No submissions will be allowed past that date and the determination of whether it is viable to offer those particular badges will be determined at that time.
Schedule of Events:
8:30 - 9:00 AM - Check- in - Lobby of the Theater (John Edson Anglin Performing Arts Center)
9:00 - 9:15 AM - Opening Ceremony - in the Theater
9:30 - 12:00 PM - First Activity
12:00 - 12:30 PM - Lunch (Bring your own lunch)
12:30 - 3:00 PM - Second Activity
3:00 - 3:30 PM - Badge Sessions End
MBU Rules and Regulations:
- Scouts are required to wear their Class A uniform during the entire day
- Attending leaders will be assigned to the same class as their Webelos scouts to assist the instructor, and also help as hall monitors
- Scout Law and Oath - We are guests of East Central College and the City of Union. We are privileged, to be able to use this facility. Please be respectful to buildings classrooms. Each Scout should conduct themselves in the true spirit of the Scout Law, Scout Oath, and the Outdoor Code. Please practice "leave no trace" during your visit. Each Scout responsible for helping to clean their assigned classroom.
- Scouts and leaders are not authorized to utilize other classrooms or buildings, other than the ones designated by ECC for use of the Scouts. All classrooms will be clearly marked.
- NO Electronic devices will be allowed!! This is a learning environment. All cell phones should be placed on vibrate or turned off.
- ECC is not responsible for accidents and damaged or lost property
Den leaders and cubmasters:
- Registration forms and money must be sent together as a Pack/Troop.
- Packs/Troops are not considered registered until all fees have been collected.
- Forms will ONLY be accepted via electronic submission.
- No refunds will be given if a scout cannot attend after registration.
- Attending leaders/adults are responsible for overseeing their scout behavior.
- All Webelos will use the same registration
- It is not the intent to complete every requirement of the Webelos activity badge in the classroom.
- The Activity Badge Instructor's decision regarding the completeness of the activity badges requirements is final.
Den leaders/adults attending - 2 Leaders/adults per Webelos Den are required to attend, and stay on campus at all times.
Special need scouts must have and adult with them.
