On Sunday, May 31st, we are soliciting assistance for launch and motor removal.

We will remove five launches and four motors from the water at Sandy Run.  Volunteers are needed to pull the launches onto the launch dock to remove the motors and then bring them onshore for a quick cleaning for summer storage until September when learning to row will begin. 

All volunteers will meet at the boathouse at 1:00 PM. Bring clothes that can get dirty.  Bring brushes and buckets if you have them.  With enough volunteers, I don't think this will take much more than 1.5 hours. Two volunteer hours can be claimed by students for the school service hours, and also a volunteer point will be earned for each family member toward the team family volunteer points requirement.
