Note/Comment icon Each year we offer a free confirmation retreat for Grades 8-10. This is held at Camp Amnicon in South Range, Wisconsin.

The objectives of the retreat are for the students to get to know each other, Pastor Kelly begins their confirmation focus discussing what Methodists believe, and for the students to have TONS of time exploring nature. We take a half day trip to Amnicon State Park for hiking, exploring the falls, having lunch and learning how to journal. We spend the rest of the day at their private beach that is on Lake Superior with campfire, looking for rocks and enjoying the views. Last year the students INSISTED we come back!

Students will need money to purchase a meal on the way to Amnicon on Friday and a meal on the way home on Sunday along with spending money if they want to get snacks when we stop for gas/restrooms.

Students will be staying in dorms that have indoor games, has a beautiful fireplace, showers and bunk style sleeping arrangements.

If your students wants to attend, please register them! We will contact you with specific departure and arrival times and with a packing list.
